Created and hosted by TJ Maclin and Stephanie Ginese, Con Tú Variety Show began as a weekly showcase built around the shared language of Cleveland’s underground creative scenes: writing. What started as a free night of stand-up, poetry, and live music has grown into a monthly, fully produced variety show at Dunlap’s Corner Bar that feels less like a traditional lineup and more like stepping into a live comedy world — complete with themes, recurring characters, and live performances woven throughout the night.

Alongside Stephanie and TJ, writers and cast members Kadijah Wingo, Substance, Q Tatum, Austin Robinson, Dezhawn France, and Cassius G help create an immersive experience for the audience.

At its core, Con Tú is about bringing Cleveland’s creative communities into the same room. It has become a respected stage for artists to try new ideas, sharpen their voices, and be part of something that feels both carefully produced and alive in the moment. For audiences, it is a chance to see the city’s comedy, music, and poetry scenes overlap through performances that feel warm, weird, funny, and deeply Cleveland.
